ROG STRIX GD30 has a unique and customizable black and white chassis featuring interchangeable front panels. It features up to a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics for unrivalled performance. And of course, it has the cooling performance to go with all this firepower. The design concept is inspired from science fiction and the Cyberpunk aesthetic. The result is a chassis that is both unique and functional at the same time, with all the expandability you would expect from a full size chassis, plus smart features like EMI shielding.
The two front panels can be detached and rearranged to create a total of six different styles. A matching white LED strip between the two panels indicates whether the system is on. Customization goes beyond just the exterior. There's also plenty of space inside to customize the spec. The GD30 has enough room for a full-size optical drive, up to six 3.5" hard drives or SSDs (solid-state drives), and two 2.5" SSDs. It even caters to liquid cooling with mounts for a dual-fan radiator.
GD30’s rear panel has all the cutouts and grommets you need to make your PC as tidy as you want it to be! The generous cabling space in the rear allows you to easily integrate new components of your PC and properly route them to the motherboard and power supply.
You can tailor GD30’s Aura motherboard to suit the feel of the game you’re currently playing from 8-million colors. On motherboard, there are pulse and static effects; you can choose single or multi-color mode, which up to 10 colors display-cycle. Additionally, the cooling fans are ringed with red LEDs for a colorful gaming accent which makes GD30 appears like it’s getting ready for the next battle. The windowed side panel gives you convenient viewing of GD30’s components. Its equipped with a hanger to let you easily rest your headphones.
GD30 packs up to latest 7th generation Intel Core i7-7700 processor, and Intel Turbo boost supporting clock speeds up to 4.2 GHz. This is a 10% increase of performance compared to previous generations. This provides outstanding performance, not just for games, but also for CPU intensive tasks such as video editing. GD30 features USB 3.1 gen 1 Type-C ports for data transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. The reversible Type-C connector also supports Quick Charge 15 W (3A/5V). USB 3.1 gives you a two-way connection for the added convenience of fast device charging and high-speed data transfers at the same time.

The cover of power supply unit enables isolated airflow for PSU and SSD and better system heat dissipation. The Aegis III system performance monitoring app enhances gaming experiences by allowing you to track CPU/memory use and download and upload status. It also lets you to control fan speeds and lighting effects, and automatically warns you if the system exceeds temperature or voltage thresholds. Aegis III also includes XSplit Gamecaster, which allows you to record and edit gameplay videos so you can share your frags on social media.
